My Experiences

So I've come to the conclusion that I don't really like Twitter. Though I do like how I can browse through the tweets of the people that I follow, I find myself becoming very agitated with the website. When I try to post tweets, it cuts me off before I finish typing the tweet. I guess I'm not really sure about how to stop the site from posting before I am done. This was my most recent experience with the site a few minutes ago when I tweeted about a website that I had found.

On the other hand, I do really like using Google Docs. This includes using it to take notes on articles for my Literature Review, in addition to using it as a discussion board for the I-Pod Touch. I think Google Docs could be a very useful tool in the classroom setting for both younger and older students. In my classroom of fifth and sixth graders, I can see them using Google Docs to type essays and other papers, so they can be accessed from many different locations. The one downfall that I see, however, is the fact that you need a Google account in order to access it. I think an educational website should provide students with a similar application for student access. It would be beneficial if teachers could create one account and all of his/her students can use the same account to create and edit documents on a website, like Google Docs.
