My PLN Experiences continue

I came across this link while googling different Personal Learnign Network benefits.

Since the PLN is still very new to me, I continue to look online for PLN opportunities and try to understand how a PLN can be of most use to a teacher. This link leads to a site that explains PLNs very simply and also has a short video about the benefits of a PLN for the student. Though the student talked about seems to be the older student, such as high school or college, it seems that the benefits of PLNs are nearly endless.

The blog posting also has a chart, breaking down the different applications that are used very often by teachers and many other people, with the benfits of these applications in the classroom setting. I continue to use the different websites that a part of my PLN to build up my knowledge base about using technology in the classroom. To me, I find that being a part of a PLN can be time consuming, since you can often get lost in websites with many different examples of activities and lessons. However, the benefits of finding out such information are immense.
